47th General Assembly and Leasing Meeting of BDL
CODIX WILL JOIN THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE GERMAN LEASING ASSOCIATION
CODIX will participate in the 47th General Assembly and Leasing Meeting of BDL. The Federal Association of German Leasing Companies (BDL) is the Berlin-based umbrella organization that represents the interests of the German leasing sector. The event will take place on 14 November 2024 in Dresden.
Leasing in Germany has established itself as the number-one investment tool in all branches of industry and commerce, and especially in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector. The Bundesverband Deutscher Leasing-Unternehmen (BDL) has highlighted significant growth in the leasing industry for 2023, with €85.6 billion in investments financed. This marks a 22.4% rise from the previous year, emphasizing the sector’s vital contribution to Germany's economy.
Philipp Schmidinger, Head of CODIX German Branch, and Gueorgui Kirilov, Project Director at CODIX, will attend this central forum for discussion of all matters relating to leasing in Germany. They will share insightful information on how the CODIX leasing software iMX helps managing the full lifecycle of the leasing and lending process.
Over 150 leasing companies, spanning from medium-sized businesses to international leasing organizations, have united under the guidance of the BDL (Association of German Leasing Companies). Their collective objective is to foster open discussions with legislators, public authorities, and the wider public regarding the extensive range of financing opportunities presented by this form of financing.
The BDL’s membership accounts for more than 90 percent of the German leasing-market. The Association focuses on providing accurate information about leasing in general, about the market for this financing product, and about the companies that provide leasing services.
