CODIX attended the 52nd edition of the one of the largest events that celebrates the financial industry in Latin America – the Felaban Annual Assembly 2018. The event brought together bankers, managers and financial institutions from around the world. The 52nd Felaban Annual Assembly 2018 event took place in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic, on 11-14 November 2018. The company was represented by Daniel Bielsa and Carlos Velasquez Reyes.

The 52nd Felaban Annual Assembly 2018 was organized by ABA and FELABAN. FELABAN is the Latin American Bank Association and ABA is The Association of Commercial Banks of the Dominican Republic.

This event attracted more than 1,900 bankers and nearly 2,000 senior level managers and decision makers from 54 countries around the globe each year. The FELABAN Annual Assembly is recognized as a time-efficient way for banking leaders to meet and network with peers worldwide. It is also seen as Latin America’s largest and most prestigious international networking forum for senior banking professionals.

Throughout the four-day event, banking professionals and senior managers attended presentations and panel discussions on the global economic outlook and key issues in the financial sector. Financial institutions are the backbone of economic growth, and the Felaban Annual Assembly helps strengthen the role of banking in our region by providing an annual platform for the exchange of ideas, concerns and best practice solutions.

The event was an excellent opportunity for the participants to discuss their business needs and, at the same time, to discuss the most current issues in the economic and financial field.

CODIX, represented by Daniel Bielsa and Carlos Velasquez Reyes from the Mexican CODIX branch, took part in this memorable event not only by participating in the panel discussions and presentations, but also by presenting the company and its product.
